Thierry's Henry Fanclub then, after two weeks' update are sitting proudly atop the Winter table; they can mathematically still be knocked off that perch, but it'll take a 12 point swing to do it (typo alert: points should read 385.5).

And so another week, another league leader! Things are shaping up to be very exciting moving toward Christmas: will the top teams wilt under the pressure? Will people have to take weeks off to do their Christmas shopping? Will Julian bring back the pineapple or will we need ANOTHER trophy? Will I ever get the base of said trophy engraved? Stay tuned...

By my reckoning there are still six weeks to play, and we'll round up this short season on the 15th of December!

Look out for photos and final standings of our Summer Season, where the Filthiest Husbands (now Filthiester Husbands) took home the glorious golden pineapple that is the Will Barlow Memorial Trophy!

With one week to go, here are the standings! We are excited to announce that next week there will be DOUBLE league points up for grabs, so no-one has room for complacency! Lots of prizes will be on offer for the top 5 spots in order of merit, plus the Will Barlow Memorial Trophy will find its first home (and might eventually get a plaque).

Also nobody won the jackpot, so there's £80 up for grabs next week!

And so a whole month (at least) after your last update (sorry!)...here we have it! The latest standings in the (technically) summer league season. We'll wrap things up in TWO WEEKS time, so still time to move into and out of those prize places, and claim the coveted shiny pineapple!

Black Isle Pease stormed the quiz this week, but Universally Challenged took home the cash- £40 up for grabs next Tuesday!

A fine chance tonight for teams to catch up on our league leaders- in the end The Flugels got 7 points on the board, narrowly finishing second behind the occasional but occasionally brilliant Hayburn Faults. Big thanks to all our new teams this evening as always!

I've also just realised I might have miscalculated things here... I shall consult the paperwork and double check but it might actually be closer than it appears...

Leaguies leaguies! Due to a small 'administrative brain error' I mistakenly announced it was £80 jackpot when it wasn't, and the Filthiest Husbands lost some ground but took home the '£80'.

Anyway... Flugelhorn catching up a bit, toddlers still on ze coattails... many quizzes to go but things are starting to take shape.

Hot off the presses... I'm sitting still in the cafe and have just compiled the league nice and early for you lovely folk- long may it continue! Husbands may not have won tonight, but still consolidated their challenge for a second title. Finally! An update!

There have been some technical difficulties folks, but this is how things (sort of) stand! Unfortunately March 3rd's results have gone missing in the ether somewhere... If they don't show up I'll think of something to even things out, but as it stands we shall call this the provisional table and move onwards!

The Infants back on top last week after slipping a wee bit, helped by the absence of Mynci Tennis... we still have 6 or 7 weeks to go folks...
